ProofreadingExpert.com reserves the right to refuse or deny service to any Client or prospective Client for any reason and without explanation. ProofreadingExpert.com does not endorse, recommend, or support the content of any documents provided by, or created for the Client. Clients are advised that plagiarism and breach of copyright are serious offences, and ProofreadingExpert.com assumes no responsibility or liability for the infringement of third party copyright in the content of Client documents. ProofreadingExpert.com is not liable or responsible for any damage to computer hardware or software arising from the distribution of a computer virus. ProofreadingExpert.com is not responsible for service delays resulting from unforeseen circumstances such as technical problems, including server issues that are beyond our control. ProofreadingExpert.com will always try to ensure the safe return of any hard copy work via the secured postal system. However, we urge Clients to retain the original document(s) and supply only copies to us. ProofreadingExpert.com is not responsible for any lost documents. All estimates are calculated on samples and/or information supplied by the Client. However, on rare occasions the estimated price may have to be revised. In such cases, the Client will be advised immediately.

4. SERVICE QUALITY

ProofreadingExpert.com gives no assurances that the work will meet the Client’s requirements, or that the service will be uninterrupted, on time, or secure. All documents are proof-read, copy-edited or created to a high and exacting standard using our full range of editing, grammatical and technical expertise. However, ProofreadingExpert.com provides no guarantee that the Client's work will be error free. If the work produced is unsatisfactory, ProofreadingExpert.com will rectify it in our own time and at our own expense. The Client is responsible for checking their returned document(s) upon receipt and accepts that it will, at all times, be responsible for reviewing the final version of the material for any use or publication. ProofreadingExpert.com is not liable for any damages of any kind, including lost revenues or profits, loss of business, or loss of data, in any way related to this service or for any claim, or loss based on errors or omissions, interruptions, or any other inaccuracies appearing on ProofreadingExpert.com. The sole liability remains with the Client.

5. CLIENT INFORMATION

The Client must provide true and accurate information with respect to their name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and all payment details. Failure to provide correct and accurate information can result in a refusal to provide service. The Client assumes all responsibility for any problems, errors, issues, as well as legal liability, resulting from such false information. Under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998, ProofreadingExpert.com may keep on record such information (e.g. contact details) as is necessary. All information submitted by the Client is confidential. The Client may request a copy of the records held to ensure they are relevant, correct and up-to-date.

6. FINANCIAL FRAUD OR THEFT

ProofreadingExpert.com is not liable for the fraudulent use of any payment method that may be used to purchase its services.

7. INDEMNIFICATION

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold ProofreadingExpert.com and its employees harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable fees and costs for the service of a solicitor, or as may be made by any third party due to or arising from use of the site or service, or violation of the terms and conditions by the Client, or infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity by the Client.

8. TERMINATION OF SERVICE

In the event of a Client violating any or all of the terms and conditions contained in this document, ProofreadingExpert.com reserves the right to terminate all service and contractual obligations with the Client. Furthermore, ProofreadingExpert.com may, at its discretion, discontinue or terminate operation of its Website, services or trading name without notice at any time and for any reason.
